Wer auf seinem iBook mindestens OSX 10.2 installiert hat, sollte unbedingt einen Blick auf das Freeware Tool Applejack werfen. Bei den meisten Startproblemen kann applejack auch ohne System CD/DVD schnell helfen. Man startet das iBook im single-user Modus und lässt das repair-Menu automatisch durchlaufen.
