Der 2001 erschienene Psychothriller "The Glass House" von Daniel Sackheim mit der jungen Leelee Sobieski, Diane Lane und Stellan Skarsgard in den Hauptrollen brachte in verschiedenen Szenen ein iBook Clamshell in der Modellfarbe Tangerine auf die Leinwand. Das iBook korrespondierte ideal mit dem schicken Ambiente des hypermodernen rundum verglasten Hauses. Nebenbei wurde das wireless Networking und der lange Akkubetrieb des iBooks deutlich gemacht.
