| When you have installed at least OSX 10.2 on your iBook, please take a look at the Freeware Tool Applejack. In most cases concerning startup-problems applejack can help, and you don't have to use your original system CD/DVD. Once installed, boot your iBook into single user mode, type in applejack and start the automatic repair. |

| The iBook is undoubtedly rugged, functional, powerful and fun, and it may even be beautiful. Having to pay an extra £350 for sufficient RAM and disk space to edit a modest home video hurts a little, though, and the lack of screen space is irritating. But in every other respect, the iBook has come of age.
