The unique Clamshell iBook Design is appreciated by well known Museums of Modern Art. You will find it in the London Design Museum along with other objects from Apple Designer Jonathan Ive. The New York Museum of Arts and Design has it too as a part of its exihibitions.
You can find a nice exhibition photo of the Key Lime iBook on
Karl's Web Desktop. Sometimes you'll find the Clamshell in a surprising environment, such as in the Yale University Art Gallery.

With equal parts toilet seat, suitcase and clam, the iBook had a funny sort of charm that did little to reflect the personality of the user (unless, of course, they happened to be running away with the circus). The iBook looked more like a Playskool product than a Cupertino one, especially when appearing on a shelf next to a Wall Street or Lombard PowerBook.
