Im Frühjahr 2006 brachte der niederländische Computerhersteller Tulip den Ego heraus - der das iBook Clamshell Design frech kopiert und variiert.

Leistungsdaten AMD Turion 64-bit CPU,12.1 inch WXGA widescreen Display 1280*800 pixel, 1GB RAM, 80GB Festplatte, DVD+/-RW Laufwerk, Wi-Fi und Bluetooth inklusive. Kostenpunkt: rund 4000 Euro in der Grundausstattung.
