Das Spitzenmodell "iBook Special Edition" in leicht verändertem, nach wie vor aber grauen Outfit ("Graphite") kommt zudem mit einem eingebauten DVD-Rom-Laufwerk, das auch das Abspielen von DVD-Videos möglich macht.
